In the Brain (original poem)
In the Brain
In the Brain Flashes of current Behind the skull Lies the opaque soul Dripping in dreams Terrorized by these neural phantoms Cries of clouded insomnia From left to right Up and down Flashes of this and that Harm and pain Did I hear someone cryout? What is this stained glass wall telling me? Twitching eyes Flooded with blackness Peace is all I ask
