Ok so firstly I confess to having literally zilch knowledge about crypto.
Only by pure chance with my husband having a good friend that does we were recommended to buy into xrp, xlm and Vechain.
I've read tons of info across reddit, Twitter, watched you tube videos and ive come to the conclusion I'll never understand it. Even the language goes straight over my head.
We invested what we could afford to lose in the hope that one day in the future we'd have a small pension pot, something we don't have now.
So here's the totally basic, (maybe even down right stupid) newbie question.
If after a bull run (high?) there's always a bear(low?) (Hope I've at least understood that correctly) and the aim with crytos like xrp, vechain etc is to hold long term why do people still buy now at the current price instead of waiting for it to dip right down?
Again I apologise if this is the most stupid basic question ever asked, but hey you don't ask, you don't learn.
Thank you for your time.
(I realise the price is down a little now, I wrote this before yesterday)
