Someone to explain how TRX is getting burned and what the rates are?

It is clear that the TRC price is not longer related to BTC in any way. Now looking at the total circulation, i saw that around 5bil coins already got burned. I understand that USDD is related to this but I do not really understand how or how high the burn rate is. Could please someone give me a better understanding?
