Advice Needed, Newish to XLM

I’m kinda new to xlm but I’m in love, I love their tech, the platform in general. How can I participate more? Like ways to earn xlm etc. I read most of their literature but I’m new enough to crypto that it reads like a foreign language. So until I’m more well versed, could any of you be so kind as to give me some tips in layman’s terms?
