Mikrorbank, a Norwegian digital currency ATM operator, has installed its first BTC (Bitcoin Teller Machine) in a decentralization-focused cafe (The Kasbah Hub) in Oslo, Norway. Mikrobank's new BTM is also the first Bitcoin ATM in the country!
"Established in 2017, Mikrobank operates the first digital currency purchasing terminal in Norway. We are passionate about digital currency and decentralized technology and our goal is to make the empowering properties of bitcoin both accessible and beneficial to everyone.," says Mikrobank on its website.
Norwegians can now purchase bitcoin from Mikrobank's General Bytes ATM in chunks of up to 10,000 Norwegian krone ($1200 USD), with a daily limit of 300,000 NOK (36,000 USD). Transactions for unregistered users are limited to 5,000 NOK.
