Connecting Wallet once a week for staking? Does that help the Reddcoin Network?
I used to run the Reddcoin wallet on a Raspberry Pi 3B+, however I have misplaced the Pi when I moved things around in my home. Fortunately, I did have the most recent wallet.dat backup, so I still have access to the coins I have generated so far. I currently able to run the Reddcoin Wallet on my laptop, however, I am not able to keep my laptop on 24/7 like I could with my Pi. I have read somewhere that I can still stake if I were to connect the wallet to the network at least once a week, which, if it's true, made me curious: Do users staking with their computers only once a week help the Reddcoin network at all? Is there any benefits to having a computer run the wallet 24/7? Has anyone experienced any downside to having the wallet run in the background while you use your computer, ie while running games?
