A warning to new investors (especially new to crypto)
Currently the whole market is prepearing entry points for large VC capital that is about to enter next week after tuesday.
Alts usually follow btc here, and they devaluate faster.
To speed the process up, large short traders usually deploy FUD (upbit is a textbook example which will turn out to be a routine control - my company had one a month ago for example)
Small-mid traders follow. Usially it all breaks down on the newcomers.
1) What to expect from this subredit until monday:
-large amount of fud that will range from delisting rumors, team breakups, tech findings regarding upcoming product (main net)
2) What you should do sith the info:
-do not make rash trading decisions, do not let the fud overcome reason
- once you start researching you will see there is no substance
3) a word of warning about mainstream media:
Crypto reporting is not journalism. Its mostly based on rumors/unamed sources/influencers
Mainstream media is extremely lax in checking reports and bloomberg/wsj and cnbc in particular are willing to report coindesk or ccn stories which later end up being unaubstantiated.
Mainstream news outlets work for the same VC companies currently opening crypto trading desks and trying to enter the market with nice positions.
Final advice. Try to stay away from checking prices until next wednesday.
