Greetings Nano Community,
First and foremost, I want to let you guys know that this question is not meant to offend anyone. I am using the Nano wallet created by the official Nano team. I love the wallet because it is simple, and easy to use. At the same time, I heard a lot of good things about Canoe and NanoVault. Based on the info section, Canoe and NanoVault are from third-party teams. I have a question regarding to third-party wallets.
My question is: “if (which is not likely to happen) the third-party wallets such as Canoe/NanoVault get compromised somehow, and result in my Nano missing, do I have some kind of assurances for getting them back?”
This question is not meant to offend anyone, especially the creators who put a lot of effort in developing wallets for us. I am grateful for having the privilege to use these products. I just wan to find out about this piece of info in case I want to switch to Canoe or NanoVault. Thank you for reading guys.
Update: Thank you for your answers guys.
