People forget Bitcoin also had problems and growing pains in the early days
People think Bitcoin was this perfect protocol that ran perfectly from its inception until now. That is not the case at all. I was doing some research on Bitcoin consensus rule changes and realized Bitcoin (similar to Nano and its issues like spam) had severe problems in its early days. Take a look here:
Bitcoin also had bugs/issues which from time to time required a hardfork/softfork of the entire network. I mean they literally had a double spend problem which they had to fix (most of these were all prior to 2014; back then it was easier to fix the problems as there was less hashing power so it was easier to gain a consensus):
Point being Nano has its issues with spam among other things but Bitcoin also had these growing pains in the early days. The future looks bright for Nano!
