Thoughts on Atomic Wallet for ETH -> XMR

In searching around for a good way to convert ETH to XMR, I found some evidence of work to develop an open source atomic swap network, but as far as I can tell that is not ready yet.

I also found Atomic Wallet which is proprietary, but seems like it might be an atomic swap implementation. Their website is pretty light on technical details, but they have some docs claiming that Atomic Wallet is all about atomic swaps. On the other hand, I read some stuff about the CEO being associated with a couple of exchanges, so at first I assumed that Atomic Wallet was just a front end for those exchanges.

Is Atomic Wallet really an Atomic Swap client? Is it trustworthy?

Their Monero support is currently undergoing maintenance and the wallet software itself seems to be having trouble parsing the XMR blockchain right now, but when I did a small ETH -> XMR conversion through their wallet it did work (I had to see my XMR using the official Monero wallet).
