Market for anonymous electronics
If I started a DW market just for privately selling (legally purchased) brand new electronics, would anyone be down to actually purchase from it? Ultimately, the site I think will live exclusively on Tor & maybe i2p(if I can get the same web server to publish to both addresses on both networks) and to anonymously ship electronics locally to anyone in the United States. Everything would be off the shelf so it would still be sealed in its original packaging when being shipped, unless there is a request to modify the software/hardware such as loading GrapheneOS or Calyx onto a Pixel. All data would be wiped(overwritten by zeros) once a package is confirmed delivered, data would probably be retained up until this point in order to handle disputes. I would like to focus on or I guess give priority to open source friendly hardware, such as Trezors, Nitrokeys, Pixels, laptops/desktops that support coreboot & Linux, that kind of thing. This market would of course accept XMR, and I want to accept cash by mail too but until I find a way to do so without leaking my home address, that's not a possibility. At the moment I'm not considering this being an open marketplace, more like an online store where I am the exclusive seller, I'm not equipped to handle disputes and whatever legal issues may arise and the like with random people. Really I want to create a reliable, affordable, and private(or as close to private as you can get handing over a shipping address) market for people who just want some extra privacy with the convenience of it being shipped to your house rather than having to go to a brick and mortar store and pay with cash. The only issue is, I don't know if people would actually be willing to use this. I know there are already markets out there that do something similar, does anyone have any suggestions on what I could possibly do to stand out?
