Cryptocurrency has grown leaps and bounds over the last few years and has been a great investment vehicle for many people. However, it also become a critical utility for people making remittance payments, purchasing products and services, and a hedge against financial turmoil.
With that, I bought my first lots of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Like many of you know, cryptocurrency is traded 24/7/365. So the first thing I did was go to the App Store and look for some great quote and news apps so I can stay connected to what is happening in the markets.
What I found was disappointing. There weren’t many apps and the ones I did find were terribly designed, didn’t cover all the exchanges, didn’t plot out trend lines clearly, didn’t have news, and weren’t realtime. If you are doing anything with cryptocurrency, having this at your finger tips is a must.
So I began to write a simple, yet stylish, app that would just tell me the quote of currencies I had invested in. It had 3 stats on the screen that updated in realtime. That’s it.
Showing it around in New York, the response was immediate and clear. Everyone was suffering from the same problem of not having clear information on markets when they’re on the go.
