Restore old wallet.dat

I just wanted to restore my old wallet. I had backuped the wallet.dat file many years ago and now installed the Litecoin Core application and replaced the wallet.dat and synchronised the Blockchain. Now however the wallet shows a balance of 0, but I see four unconfirmed receives from 2016 and 2014 and no sending transactions. I am not sure if there should be a balance on the wallet, but I wonder why there are no sending transactions in the transaction history and why the received transactions are unconfirmed. Did I miss any big change, where the old wallets came incompatible to a new chain or to new clients?
