Not sure I really understand IOTA.
It should be desirable to have an OS using IOTA shouldn't it? Right now when using Android or iOS Google/Apple get a lot of usage data which they can sell effectively robbing (maybe a strong word, since Android is free) the end-user of their possibility to sell the data themselves.
An IOTA OS would allow the user to sell their data themselves and the developers of the IOTA OS could charge a commission on the sold data?
Same for apps really. WhatsApp makes money through their collection of user data. This could also be replaced by another messenger service based on IOTA where the user can opt-in into selling their usage data on a data marketplace, couldn't it?
Am I thinking this wrong?
