Could someone please explain how simple atomic swaps could be on an app built on Hedera?

How simple could developers make this feature on an app/platform? 1. For example could a developer build an app that had an atomic swaps feature that would be fairly easy and straightforward for “average” people? Like for example a writer sends the native coin on the app (or HBAR) to an artist in return for some artwork for the book cover, or would this process seem fairly complicated to those who are not familiar with this type of thing? Could it be as simple as agreeing a price for the art, both parties e-signing and hitting “agree” and one receives the HBAR and the other receives the art? 2. I assume that the art would have to be tokenised to be able do the swap? Thanks! I am in marketing, with no experience in app development or DLT’s but am doing an intern project on “utilising new technology”. With any luck I will be able to convince management to get on the Hedera train ;)
