I have been thinking over the whole CBDC adoption on Heder and I am coming to the conclusion that we may actually be going to have a handful of Central Banks join the Governance Council! The FED being to first.
Central Banking is different to Commercial Banking and I cant see any Country trusting any network enough with their CBDC if they did not have representation on the Governance Council.
Hedera has had CBDC's in its plans since conception. Some kind of Governance Council would be critical if a Country is to have that level of trust in any DLT network.
And the whole point of the Governance Council is for a diverse spread of industry representation as to accommodate the needs of each industry.
I am thinking it could actually have 7 spots reserved for the G7.
