The Decentraland whitelist sale

Decentraland Whitelist PBoC ruling, individual contribution cap, whitelist registration and participation.

In order to comply with the recent People’s Bank of China’s ruling, which requests that those who held a token launch return funds to Chinese users, we are going to proceed and return the Ether contributed through Chinese platforms to the best of our ability.

The MANA tokens that were sold through these platforms represent 24,500 ETH. This total amount of MANA will be sold through the previously announced whitelist, which will begin on Friday, September 15th, 1 PM GMT. Given the circumstances, we will open up registration to those community members who have not been able to sign up until now. However, in the spirit of guaranteeing access to the original whitelist participants, we are going to limit the number of people that can register to the whitelist.

Individual contribution cap

The whitelist will spread over multiple days, each with an individual contribution cap. We will honor the same ETH/MANA rate used by these platforms (1 ETH = 11,954 MANA), so as to not alter the total MANA supply. On day one, each participant will be able to purchase up to 3.3 ETH worth of MANA tokens. On the second day, up to 10 ETH each; on the third day, 30 ETH; fourth day, 90 ETH; fifth day, 450 ETH; sixth day, 1,500 ETH. The whitelist will finalize once we sell the total MANA allocated, or at the end of the sixth day. Also, it is important to note that those who skip one day are able to participate on subsequent days, as long as the whitelist has not yet ended.

Whitelist registration

You can check here and see if you have previously registered for our whitelist. If you have received an email confirmation, no further action is required. Please note: this email is only for confirmation purposes. You will not receive an email from Decentraland requesting that you send funds. Also, you will be able to change the white...
