Render Token Changes Conditions Of Token Sale During The Sale Itself
With 3 weeks to go for the token sale, Render Token announces they will end the token sale in 2 days, abruptly.
Quoting: "The sale will officially close on October 12th, 11:59PM UTC."
Even worse than changing the conditions mid-sale, they announce they will have more crowdsales in the future, until the hardcap is reached: "RNDR, by design, is a mintable token, giving RNDR the flexibility to spread sequential token sales (short of the hard cap) around product and development milestones."
Out of nowhere, they have decided they have this flexibility. Without any prior mention, ever. Very respectful to the few people who have already invested under the previous terms... /s Why would anyone still invest in this project in the future, after they've shown total disrespect to those who have invested already?!
I just wanted to post this to call this shady company out. It is absolutely not OK to change conditions during your token sale just because nobody is sending ETH to your ridiculously priced ICO (guess what, crypto investors are finally getting smart). This is criminal behavior as far as I'm concerned. Another company that makes the crypto world look bad... I expected more of this semi-established company, but they're nothing more than crooks now.
Shit like this is why the SEC will shut down ICOs sooner or later. What these guys should have done is offer an optional refund to those who have already invested in this ICO. That would make their actions acceptable.
