ETH 2.0 Staking noob

Hi, I have 32ETH ready for staking. How do I know if I am technically capable of setting up and running a validator ? I don't want to risk my funds into something I don't understand. I watched a tutorial on how to become a validator on PRYSM and it seemed complicated, althought I did not try to set up one. I also want to know once my funds are locked up in ETH2.0, do I have to interact with the software or is it that I simply need to maintain my computer online to propose, verify, and vouch the validity of the blocks ( is this like a side-kick job? ) Are there any minimum requirements ? ( computer specs ) My pc is not garbage but it's kind of old.
