Swedish SaaS platform Vourity and HIPS Payment Group Ltd has announced a partnership that will allow users to pay via cryptocurrencies in 50,000 EV charging stations throughout Europe. Hips Merchant Protocol will be providing the platform to link crypto payments straight to the blockchain. Cavebring also stated that the move will speed up the move for an all-electric vehicle future.
Presently, the Vourity platform enables EV drivers to use a routine open payment method when charging their vehicles. It uses methods such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bluecode, Swish, as well as charge cards (Mastercard and Visa).

He said the goal is to make it easy for EV drivers to charge their cars using different alternatives. Nottehed reiterated that it chose to partner with HIPS because cryptocurrency payments are the “most logical choice for our next-generation world.
HIPS Payments Group also collaborated with The Payment House to allow payments using crypto assets in more than 10,000 taxis in the UK and over 20,000 taxis in Scandinavia.
