What does Partially Filled and canceled mean in buying crypto?

I am a beginner at crypto and I bought a coin. I set it to market and it is at 100% price fully slid to the right. I was confused because I only received lesser than I was expecting it's like half of it is missing. I went to Spot Wallet and saw the coin I bought, I can also see the USD price which is correct but the number of the coin I received is wrong. Then I saw the order history the status says "partially filled and canceled". Is that reason why I only received half the number of the coin I bought? Can anyone explain it to me in a very simple way? I already did some research but I can't understand their explanations. Please excuse my English.
