Authenticator question

Phone was all set up (Android) everything working. Then my phone broke. Had to get a new one. Did a transfer of everything phone to phone. The Authenticator settings did not transfer. When clicking 2FA setting up crypto app, a code is supposed to come up to put in Authenticator. Nothing shows and all switches are already on, no way to change. Downloaded Crypto app a couple of times to reinstall Finally found in the Authenticator app there is a way to transfer settings. I transfered and everything is working properly. I would feel much more comfortable using the app and service if I have the ability to reset EVERYTHING back and start fresh if I have to. Is there a way to reset or reinstall the Authenticator If needed?
