Yoroi and Daedalus won't import from Trezor Model T

Both Yoroi and Daedalus claim to support Trezor Model T. But neither of them actually work. On Daedalus, I get to a screen where I try to export my xpub. My Trezor thinks I should be entering a passphrase, but there is no passphrase to enter on the wallet app. It just sits on the screen doing nothing, trying to export an xpub. On Yoroi, I get slightly further and enter my passphrase and then it just says failed to connect. Every time. I finally tried AdaLite, which isn't even officially supported, and that one works. Support for hardware wallets seems like it should be a critical function. But after spending over 2 months just to get verified at Binance US since Coinbase doesn't have Ada, I'm having second thoughts. Is there something I'm missing?
