Question about hardware wallet and adalite

Hey guys, new to the crypto scene so please bear with me. If I am using a hardware wallet such as Trezor and the wallet doesn't support ADA natively, instead it redirects me to Adalite. Therefore, is my ADA in my Trezor or in Adalite? Also if staking through Adalite, is that recommended or should I use the "official" yoroi wallet? What really concerns me is that even if I have a hardware wallet it redirects me to another wallet such as adalite, I am worried that my ADA is not in the Trezor but in Adalite? Please advise!
