The entire Cardano community has been waiting for the official release of the Shelley update. Now that the Coronavirus crisis is coming to an end, projects resume their activities and countries start opening their economies once again. Cardano is not being left behind and Hoskinson announced the official release date of Shelley’s update.
He mentioned that the official release is going to be as soon as on June 9 when the network will be open to everyone. On June 16, Hoskinson explained they will start “putting things together end-to-end.” Furthermore, if everything works properly, Shelley would be ready for June 30.
This is an update that has been developed in the last months by a group of experts and that the entire crypto community was waiting. Of course, the whole process was not easy and there have been many challenges during the way. Indeed, many have criticized Cardano and the entire team due to the delays they were showing with Shelley’s release.
Mr. Hoskinson has always been very clear about the fact that they do not focus on marketing but instead, they work at all times in order to offer working and functional services and products.
About the announcement, Hoskinson explained:“I’m really proud of everybody. It’s been a long time coming and it’s been a difficult year because we’ve had to change the tires while the car is running. What we’re creating is basically the world’s next operating system.”
