Ursula von der Lehen provides best case for Bitcoin: Cannot be confiscated

The current situation in Ukraine has brought out some of the hidden risks with fiat money. Doesn't matter what one thinks about the conflict, one principle was always considered sacred in international trade - Private property. The EU boss today laid out her view that a legal framework should be put in place to allow the EU to use Russian confiscated assets to help Ukraine.

This is a travesty because it legalizes stealing assets and diverting them wherever the people running the show want. Today you may think it's for a just cause, but the precedent is as ugly as they get. Tomorrow they'll seize your assets, just because, I don't know, you oppose the current government?

To the average nocoiner this means nothing, but to governments around the world, and rich people around the world, the message is loud.

Bitcoin fixes this. There is no bureaucrat, elected or not, dictator or other authoritarian that can take your Bitcoin if you have control of the keys. They may kill you, which they always could do, but they will not get your coins by just signing a document.

Get Bitcoin. The value of an unconfiscatable asset is priceless. People don't understand that yet. They will. But by the time they do, it'll be too late, they'll have to pay dearly to protect their wealth.
