Swash DAO Opens Doors for Community Proposals and Voting!
I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. As of May 17th, 2023, the Swash DAO has officially opened its doors to community proposals, allowing every Swash member to have a voice and cast their vote. These are truly exciting times ahead!
Since its launch earlier this year, the Swash DAO has been highly anticipated by all of us in the Swash community. The proposals suggested by the Swash team have already passed with flying colors, and now it's time to take things up a notch by welcoming member proposals.
Now, you must be wondering, how can you submit your brilliant ideas? Well, the process is quite simple and familiar, similar to the voting process we've experienced before.
To get started, head over to the Swash DAO and navigate to the 'new proposal' tab in the menu list. You'll need to connect your wallet to submit your proposal. Give your idea an engaging name, provide all the necessary details in the description, and select the voting system and period that suits your proposal. Once submitted, your proposal will be up for a token-based vote by other DAO members.
It's important to note that we want to ensure all proposals come from loyal members who have Swash's best interests and growth in mind. Therefore, there is a requirement to hold a minimum balance of 25,000 $SWASH in your connected wallet to be eligible to submit your ideas.
To clarify, the 25,000 $SWASH balance must be held on the wallet used to connect to the Swash DAO, and it's a minimum balance required at the time of the wallet snapshot. No tokens will be taken from you to submit a proposal, and as long as you hold the minimum required balance, you can submit as many proposals as you want!
Remember, the Swash DAO will remain indefinitely open to members' proposals, fostering a vibrant and collaborative environment.
