Seed phrase - metal that doesn't melt

I saw a while back someone posted a picture of their engraving kit to record their seed phrase onto a sheet of metal. I plan on doing the same on at least two different pieces of metal, splitting the phrase in half, or maybe even quarters. Has anyone done this? What kind of metal I should use.. something that doesn't melt in a fire, or corrode? Stainless steel?
