Native Segwit vs Taproot

Im having troubles figuring out what i should use, if a native segwit bitcoin account or a taproot bitcoin account. I know they says taproot is better for privacy and its an overall upgrade, but im wondering why the majority of people use native segwit still if taproot is an overall upgrade? I was hoping this awesome community could enlighten me.
