Michael Saylor at Pasific Bitcoin day two.

He's on at the end of the stream if you want to watch it.

He mentioned 3 big future drivers.

  1. Big banks in and small banks out. So we need big institutions buying into BTC and they are slowly while small banks and exchanges fall over. Thanks to FTX etc this is already happening.

  2. Lightning Apps that can be useful world wide. Micro strat is building a web app to allow instant BTC lightning interface with websites. The other big idea is a BTC USD wallet, that's already happening and one went live a few months ago. Google "stablesats" for details on that. I'm sure others are coming.

  3. Money printers continue to devalue your countries money and education spreads about bitcoin as an alternative.

With these three factors pushing up there is going to be a break out moment for bitcoin in the next year or two. We may dip more before then but then it's going to be global.

Side note on exponential growth of an idea:

Lily pad puzzle - if lily pads in a pond double the area (one pad becomes two) every day, and it take 100 days to cover the entire pond. How long to cover half the pond?

Answer - 99 days. (Because the next day it doubles and it's fully covered)

The point of the Lilly pad puzzle is it's hard to imagine exponential growth. Thus when you are sitting on the first few pads as bitcoiners you see huge progress but equally it's taking ages. Then on day 98 your only at 25% adoption and you think you may give up... Then the next day it's 50% and the day after it's 100%.
