Lightning scalability and decentralization issues.
I have heard a lot of criticism lately saying that Lightning sucks, is centralized, and will take decades for everybody to create channels since a tx is needed in the base layer. It looks as if Lightning is getting centralized over time, since everybody uses custodial services, and is basically trash (according to critics and shipcoiners). It also has very little capacity today.
¿How can Lightning scale without turning into a hub and spoke network?¿How can billions open a channel with only 7 TPS?¿Will it be possible to scale Bitcoin without sacrificing decentralization?
