Inflation. Good or bad?

I’m sure we all saw Jerome Powell not being able to answer why a 2% inflation rate is good. I feel brainwashed that I never really questioned it just accepted it as good. I’ve heard inflation is good for an economy. What are both sides of the argument why inflation at all is bad or why a low rate of inflation would be good.
