How many Blocks away from the "Every 10 minutes 1 block" metric have we ever been?
On average, the blockchain gets one new block every 10 minutes. If we are faster, the difficulty gets increased. If we are slower, the difficulty gets decreased. This way we always stay at roughly one block every 10 minutes.
My question is however, how far did we ever drift away from this average? Was it off by one block? Ten? Hundred?
