Give me one good reason why I should not use legacy (1xxx) uncompressed addresses.

I understand bitcoin is as gold, it has different purity levels; and those are defined by the type of addresses I'm using. Satoshi used legacy uncompressed ones, after Gavin Andressen, the person who said Craig Wright is Satoshi, introduced P2SH and uncompressed addresses. This was followed in 2017 by segwit and if I'm not wrong back in 2021 was introduced schnorr. I understand that the way I generate and hold my private keys is the most important thing when i comes to Bitcoin. So please tell me why you chose to use anything else rather than the original type of addresses that Satoshi used.
