Does this statement stand??

"If the entire population of the world operated on one singular currency, the poor would die of starvation and the rich would know no bounds to their wealth!"

Edit: I don't agree with this statement. Just wanted to hear what you all had to say. Basically the arguments against this. Of course the idea is if bitcoin was the singular currency.

I know that the person who said this said it while equating bitcoin to fiat. Which wont work.
