Do we know why there are +100k transactions in the Mempool?

There are 100k transacrions in the Mempool which is quite high. But at the same time it seems that, according to mempool space for 6 sat/vB you could get into the next block?

Which seems like there has been a lot of transactions at low fee dumped into the Mempool?

Do we know the cause?
