Bought a 2011 Sony Vaio from thrift store for $50

Turned the laptop on and it was running Linux, decided to recover all data from HDD with simply recovery tool and their were two Bitcoin wallets; one called Bitcoin QT and another called Bitcoin Core When I try to open wallets they are locked with secure phrase. Notes on laptop suggest their maybe 4,000 BTC on QT and 2,205 on Core Can anyone provide advice on whether you can KeyGen the pass phrase ?
