Goldbugs love to claim that if the power goes out, your Bitcoin is useless.

Bitcoin is a life raft for our society to transition from a fiat debt death spiral to a Bitcoin standard without the collapse of basic services. It’s not a solve for how to conduct transactions in a mad max universe. For Bitcoin to be at its best a functioning society & government is needed.

And btw, if you’re hoarding what you believe to be the currency of the mad max hell we’re headed into (assuming Bitcoin can’t stop it) then I suggest a reality check on your ability to protect your gold once anyone finds out you have some. If that’s where we’re headed then you’re better off investing in an off grid self sustaining homestead and a full armory.
