Any chance of zk-rollups being added to Bitcoin?

Lightning network works well when a route is found, but one issue is that if no route is found to someone you are trying to pay, then you are forced to either open a new channel or send the transaction on the base layer - both of which would potentially require paying a large transaction fee, especially as Bitcoin grows and the demand for blockspace increases.

ZK-rollups could in theory allow a large number of transactions to be condensed into a small zero-knowledge proof parameter, which could be a good alternative in cases where no lighting route is found.

However, my main concern with zk-rollups is the issue of how this could be implemented in a truly decentralized and bug-free manner.
