Staking BNT vs LINK

I am not able to figure when I am doing single sided liquidity staking in LINK/BNT pool (1) does my return remain the same whether I stake BNT or LINK in LINK/BNT pool ? (2) do I still get BNT reward whether I stake BNT or LINK; rewards as in BNT that is being distributed by Bancor for providing liquidity during this beta stage.
