PSA: Your wallet doesn't store your assets, the blockchain does.
*I lost my phone, is all my crypto gone? Which wallet should I store this token in?*
I feel like this is a huge misconception found across many new-comers of all blockchains. You don’t store assets in a wallet, you store them on the blockchain at an address. A wallet is just a tool you authorize to view and control those assets. That’s why you’re able to create multiple wallets that all point to the same address (as long as you use the same seed phrase).
I know this may seem obvious to some of you but I see it a lot in crypto subs though it might be helpful to share.
