No matter if you’re a new MacBook owner, or if you’ve been a loyal Apple-user for years these shortcuts are sure to make anyone’s life a little bit easier. In a few minutes, you’ll be able to replace multi-step actions with a few simple keystrokes.
If you are fairly new to using a Mac, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with a few symbols (as seen below) that are located on your Mac’s keyboard.⌘ (Command) ⇧ (Shift) ⌥ (Option or Alt) ⌃ (Control) ⇪ (Caps Lock)
To take a Screenshot (a picture of your Mac’s screen):
You will press the following keys at the same time, then release:
“⌘ Command”, “⇧ Shift”, and “3”
After pressing the combination of keys, you should hear the sound of a camera shutter. The screenshot picture should then be saved in your file labeled: “Downloads”.
